Situated in the country of Lesotho at 3222m above sea level in the northern part of the Maluti Mountains, Afri-ski the closest ski resort to Gauteng, Natal and the Free State, offers skiing and snowboarding to all from beginners to advance skiers and snowboarders. Afri Ski hosted its first successful skiing season in June through August 2005. Approximately 3000 tourists, mostly South Africans, visited the resort and 2500 skiers enjoyed to ski the longest ski slope in Africa. In 2007 our clientele more than doubled and the ski shop reached its full
capacity daily with over 10 000 visitors of which 7000 were skiers.
Our ski season for 2008 will only open as from Friday the 13th of June due to weather conditions and will run until the end of August, if however the weather allows it we might carry on into September 2008.
