Afri-Ski Site: 28* 49 South and 28*43” East

Access from South Africa is gained via the Caledonspoort Border Post at Fouriesburg. Once through the border post and into Lesotho, the scenic Moteng Pass (80 km of excellent, newly tarred road) guides you through the clouds to the mystical Mahlasela valley at 3,222m above sea level.

Although this is only 80km road and in excellent condition, it takes about an hour and a half from the border post to the ski resort. Please keep this in mind when planning your trip. Your last chance to fill up is Clarens or Fouriesburg.
